Our process
From your normal photograph, we digitally 'create' the pop art by eliminating the background, duplicating the subject and adding the colour layers. All of this foundation work happens on our computers. Customers also have the opportunity to specify particular colours if they want. Once the digital pop art is complete, we set to work producing it as a 100% original oil on canvas painting.
Traditionally, pop art was mass-produced and poplularised using a silk screen printing process. At Master Arts, we feel that the hand painted oil on canvas approach leaves a much more personal touch whilst providing an extremely high quality, long lasting work of original art. Hand painted portraits are the ultimate expression of personalisation.
Easy to arrange
All we need is a high quality digital photo, or an actual photo which we can scan professionally for you. Our quality control ensures that you only receive your original portrait once you have approved a digital photograph of it. Once your order is placed, please allow up to six weeks for completion of your portrait.
